    Our two-day Volcanoes National Park tour lets you get up close and personal with rare species. This lifetime experience will allow you to see the following;

    • After breakfast at 8 am or lunch, you will be picked up by our driver guide to visit Gorilla Guardians for an enchanting cultural experience; you’ll enjoy cultural dances and drumming, try your hand at bow and arrow, watch a locally prepared herbal mixture and step into the traditional dwelling of the local king.   • Day 2Gorilla Trekking

    After breakfast, we will drive to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters to be allocated a gorilla tracking group at 7 am. You will get a briefing from your trackers and start the fantastic adventure of Gorilla trekking.

    • Tracking/trekking can entail some thorough climbing as well as hiking. However, when you come face to face with the tranquil yet potent Mountain Gorillas, watching them only a few meters away from you, observing the group, the baby with the mothers, and the gorillas partaking in their everyday routine just right in front of you, is all a very overwhelming experience.

  • How should we dress for the cultural village visits?

    Wear modest, comfortable clothing that covers shoulders and knees as a sign of respect. Light, breathable fabrics are recommended. Avoid flashy jewelry and consider bringing a hat/sunglasses for sun protection during outdoor activities.

  • What health precautions are required for primate encounters?

    REQUIRED VACCINATIONS: Yellow Fever (certificate required), COVID-19 recommended, Hepatitis A & B recommended, Typhoid recommended, CRITICAL RULES DURING TRACKING: 7m minimum distance (gorillas), No coughing/sneezing toward primates, Wearing masks is optional but encouraged, No access if actively sick.

  • What's the best time of day/year to visit the National Park ?

    The park is open year-round with distinct advantages each season: BEST VIEWING TIME: Early morning (6:30-10am) best for predator sightings, Late afternoon (3:30-6pm) best for waterfall photography.

  • Are the cultural experiences suitable for children?

    Absolutely! Children particularly enjoy the interactive elements - dancing, drumming lessons, and sweet treats making. We adjust activities based on group composition, and villagers are exceptionally welcoming to young visitors.
